I like seeing that Richard & Adelaide are not making technology decisions anymore. I will be happy when I see some of the more technical projects completed. I am pleased to see these things making there way into fruition, even it it is taking them 2+ years since they were originally discussed. I'm glad that Michael Boh will have some room to make decisions without Richard micro-managing him. I know that will definitely show results. If Richard would have given the young, motivated, and idealistic staff when I was there some of that same professional respect, I know for a fact that several of the things in Carolyn's list would have already been done. My only worry with the NPAT going online, with me being a tech person, is the security aspect, and hindering spammers, hackers, and people trying to falsify NPATs. But, if my old boss had any input, then those issues would have been addressed.

Also...THANK YOU JESUS for the PR campaign getting through to someone over there about the Branding. I don't remember how many times i brought up "we need to push the PVS brand!" Thanks Carolyn for cracking someone's head over there and making them listen...

Carolyn, I would recommend possibly trying to integrate the Purple campaign in a way that Myspace does it for advertising. You know when Xmen 3 came out, the entire main Myspace page had a "theme" I would recommend posssibly having Derek come up with a cool "skin" that can be easily implemented into the CSS of PVS's website, and easily changed between the main colors, and the "skinned" website.

The API is along time coming, and I'm really not sure if it is too little too late. We shall see how it stands up to APIs like MAPlight.org & other projects funded by Sunlight Foundation/Labs.

I'm interested to see results...

That's great to hear about all the changes. I think PVS should really run with the whole Purple Campaign as much as they can. It's worked for other campaigns, ie the One Campaign, and I think it would give PVS a niche that is overlooked many times in the media and by voters. I think these will definitely help make PVS a contributing partner in political dialogue for a while!

Woo hoo! The NPAT is online! Lucky '07 interns!

P.S. The purple bus should totally come to my campus. Can PVS play favorites on this one?

Carolyn, I'm excited to hear about so many new additions to PVS, particularly things that were pushed for when I was around.
